At the District Counseling Center, we have certified counselors who specialize in helping individuals cope with their anxieties. Our team of professionals provides evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) which helps clients identify and challenge irrational thoughts that lead to anxious feelings so they can develop more effective coping strategies. We also offer Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), which teaches clients how to recognize stressors and respond to them calmly rather than reacting out of fear or panic.
