At the District Counseling Center, we have certified counselors who specialize in helping individuals cope with their anxieties. Our team of professionals provides evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) which helps clients identify and challenge irrational thoughts that lead to anxious feelings so they can develop more effective coping strategies. We also offer Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), which teaches clients how to recognize stressors and respond to them calmly rather than reacting out of fear or panic.

We understand that everyone’s experience with anxiety is unique, so our approach will be tailored to each individual client’s needs. During sessions, we work collaboratively to create an action plan that helps clients gain insight into their own behavior patterns while providing practical tools for managing symptoms of anxiety when they arise outside of therapy sessions. Our goal is not only to reduce immediate symptoms training to help teens. At the District Counseling Center, we have therapists who understand that everyone’s experience with anxiety is unique.
