I meet my clients where they’re at and focus on building a relationship at a comfortable pace. Over time our alliance will provide a safe space for you to learn new ways of relating to yourself and others. Just as a plant needs water and sunlight to grow, people too can flourish when provided with the right environment and support. Ideally, with the right conditions, you will experience growth and discover self-acceptance. When you are ready to begin this journey, I will be there with you every step of the way!
Educational Background & Expertise
I earned a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Sam Houston State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from American Military University. I have experience working with adolescents, teens, and young adults through difficulties related to trauma, anxiety, OCD, self-esteem, and life-stage development. I use an integrative approach, borrowing from various theoretical orientations, such as person-centered therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, narrative therapy, and psychodynamic therapy.
