Supervised by Sarah Rodriguez, LPC
Anggie Alcendra is a Clinical Social Work intern with a strong background in behavioral health, case management, and trauma informed care. She currently supports children, adolescents, and families navigating emotional challenges, adjustment difficulties, and complex life transitions. Her clinical perspective is grounded in a holistic biopsychosocial approach, recognizing the interconnected impact of emotional, relational, and environmental factors on overall well-being.
Anggie is completing her graduate training in Clinical Social Work and has experience working with diverse populations, including immigrant families and youth experiencing anxiety, depression, acculturation stress, and family-related challenges. She integrates evidence-based approaches such as cognitive-behavioral strategies, strengths-based interventions, and family-centered care to help clients develop insight, emotional regulation, and resilience.
Her goal is to create a safe, supportive, and culturally responsive space where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered. Anggie believes in meeting each person where they are and working collaboratively to foster healing, personal growth, and long term emotional wellness.
