Hello! My name is Rafael Coral.
I am a graduate student at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center, and currently pursuing my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.I have years of experience working with neurodivergent populations as a registered behavior technician, as well as serving as a teaching assistant and teacher’s apprentice in special education classrooms. Much of my work has involved collaborating with families in addressing their children’s concerns and implementing individualized, evidence-based treatment plans. Both prior to and throughout this path, I have worn many hats in my journey of self-discovery. These experiences have shaped my holistic perspective, allowing me to understand people within the context of their unique lives, and have inspired my passion for helping others bounce back from adversity.
My approach is grounded in a strength-based philosophy that emphasizes meaning, resilience, and empowerment. I strive to create a judgment-free space where clients feel safe to be their authentic selves and feel supported as they navigate life’s challenges. I believe that change does not have to be big or immediate to be meaningful. The accumulation of small changes we’ve made over time has helped shape the person we are today. My goal is to support and guide you through this process, and I look forward to accompanying you as a fellow traveler on your journey towards healing and self-discovery.
