Here to help you.

Kendria Johnson
Greetings, my name is Kendria Johnson, and I am a third-year graduate student at Texas Southern University, pursuing my Master of Education degree in Clinical Mental Health. I am located at the District Counseling – Memorial office and am accepting new clients under the direct supervision of Ms. Fallon Fields.
I possess advanced knowledge and have a niche in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Person Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and mind-body approaches to healing, such as mindful meditation, faith-based approaches, and yoga.
I have a vast background in law enforcement with the Harris County Sheriff’s Office, as I have thoroughly received insurmountable training in crisis intervention, de-escalation, and critical thinking. I often attribute those skills to a firm foundation of possessing the knowledge to listen first.
While serving as the administrative support for the Behavioral Health Division for the Harris County Sheriff’s Office, where law enforcement employees receive adequate mental health support, I was prompted to pivot my career in Criminal Justice and began obtaining my master’s degree in clinical Mental Health.
As a future therapist, it is in my best interest to provide mental health support to our community and the surrounding areas. Should you desire to schedule an appointment with me, know that you will be heard and receive adequate support to unpack and process your thoughts, feelings, and emotions.
Best,
Kendria Johnson
