Here to help you.

LPC-Associate

Im a compassionate, evidence-based psychotherapist fluent in both English and Spanish, certified in the Flash Technique—a rapid, minimally invasive intervention shown to quickly reduce distress associated with traumatic memories using positive focus and bilateral stimulation.
I earned my Master’s in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University and my B.A. from the University of Houston. As an LPC-A, I bring almost three years of dedicated experience working with individuals across a spectrum of mental health challenges.
Some of my experiences include support to diverse clients struggling with grief, anxiety, depression, and complex trauma. A central part of my work involved offering individual Therapy to unaccompanied minors (ages 13–17) under the Care of the Office of Refugee Resettlement. These young people face cultural shifts, language barriers, and trauma. I assist them through comprehensive assessments, trauma- and grief-informed treatment plans, targeted therapeutic interventions, and close collaboration with shelter staff and multidisciplinary teams, helping them build resilience and adapt to their new environment.

Clinical Skills & Services

  • Collaborative Care working closely with interdisciplinary professionals to support well-rounded client well-being.
  • Individual Therapy using evidence-based methods (CBT, mindfulness, Flash Technique) for emotional challenges.
  • Comprehensive Assessments to identify client strengths, needs, and goals.
  • Tailored Treatment Plans aligned with each client’s mental health objectives.
  • Trauma & Grief Interventions for unaccompanied minors and individuals experiencing loss or adjustment stress.

Approach & Philosophy

I cultivate a warm, culturally responsive, and client-centered environment where empathy meets practical strategy. I guide clients through mindfulness, cognitive restructuring, and Flash Technique to gently reduce distress, foster self-awareness, and honor personal experiences. The result is a healing space that is both safe and structured for effective growth.

Credentials & Experience

  • Master’s in Clinical Psychology – Pepperdine University, Malibu, CA
  • B.A. in Clinical Psychology – University of Houston
  • LPC-A with nearly 3 years of clinical practice
  • Certified in Flash Technique—a research-backed method based on the broaden-and-build theory of positive emotion.
  • Skilled in CBT, trauma-informed Care, and bilingual therapeutic delivery
