Hello! I’m Daidra Saunders, Licensed Professional Counselor – Associate, supervised by Keisha Sylve LPC-S. I have a Masters of Science in School Counseling and have been working in education for 15 years, 10 years as a school counselor. I also have experience working with adults as a therapist at a behavioral health hospital.
Life often brings challenges that can cause us to feel tired, frustrated and overwhelmed. I would love to partner with you on a journey for renewed perspective and personal growth. I have experience addressing issues such as stress, anxiety, grief, low self-esteem, trauma, anger and emotional dysregulation. I enjoy working with children, adolescents and adults of all ages.
My theoretical approach is to provide a safe space for clients to become self aware and make authentic and meaningful choices in their lives. I use techniques that are based in Cognitive Behavioral therapy and Solution Focused Brief therapy. Looking forward to being a part of your journey in becoming the best version of yourself!
