Alejandra Berman
Therapist in Copperfield Office (Hablo Español)
Hello my name is Alejandra Berman and I am a graduate intern at District Counseling. It is natural for me to gravitate towards people who need someone to talk to. I believe in the power of human connection and the importance of supporting others. I truly believe that being a mental health counselor is one of my life’s purposes. I am passionate about helping others reach their goals to achieve their fullest potential. I am also a mother of an adolescent on the autism spectrum and with OCD. My experience with my son inspired me to pursue a counseling career that allows me to help others on the spectrum and their families. I can also be of assistance to any adolescent or adult looking to uncover their own identity, undergoing a difficult life transition, relationship issues, or simply managing daily stress.
A healthy therapeutic relationship is the most significant component to therapy. I make sure my clients feel safe and in an accepting environment where they can feel comfortable expressing their feelings and thoughts. As a culturally competent counselor, I am able to respect values, attitudes, and other cultural differences. I believe we are active participants in our own healing of our mind and body. I help my clients solve problems at their source rather than just treating symptoms. I use a holistic approach and mindfulness to help my clients understand the importance of living a meaningful life and the importance of finding one’s own individual purpose. I will provide guidance as you navigate, understand, and explore who you are and the person you aspire to be. To empower my clients to be true to their authentic selves, I offer life-changing tools to support them in awakening and manifesting their dream lives. On my free time, I love to travel to see the beauty of nature around the world, I love going on adventures and hikes. Hiking has helped so much in my life,

I am also fluent in Spanish.
