Hello, I’m Adriana Gomez. I am a bilingual (Spanish/English) Licensed Professional Counselor Associate with over 20 years of experience in clinical psychology. I have worked with children, adolescents, and families across clinical, educational, and community mental health settings. My professional journey has taken me through Colombia, Chile, and the United States; these experiences have and continue to shape my multicultural and trauma-informed approach to therapy.
My work is based on a person-centered, trauma-informed framework, and I integrate evidence-based practices to meet each client’s unique needs. I try to create a warm and caring space where people feel safe, understood, and free to be themselves. I believe that healing occurs through kindness, connection, and helping people grow stronger, enabling them to find the tools they need to navigate life’s challenges.
I help clients work through a range of concerns, including depression, anxiety, adjustment disorder, trauma, and relationship challenges. I am especially passionate about supporting immigrant individuals and families as they adjust to a new culture, heal from difficult experiences, and hold on to the strengths of their roots and identity.
