How do you find the right therapist? With so many professionals to choose from, it can be difficult to know where to start. Mental health problems have escalated due to COVID-19. There is no shame in seeking help. Here are some things to consider when seeking a therapist:

1) Do your research on the type of therapist you would like to schedule with. Some people prefer psychologists, while others might prefer psychiatrists. At District Counseling we offer a variety of services and can meet your needs.

2) Consider what you are looking for in a therapist. Are they warm and welcoming? Do they specialize in certain areas? We have therapists who specialize in anxiety, depression, trauma, and more.

3) Don’t be afraid to ask questions when you are meeting with a therapist for the first time. This is your opportunity to find out if they are the right fit for you.

If you are looking for a therapist, look no further than District Counseling. Our team of highly trained professionals is ready to help!
