Ayleen Quintero Esparza

Counselor-In-Training

Here to help you.

Graduate Student– Texas Wesleyan University

I am a dedicated and compassionate counseling graduate student in my final year at Texas Wesleyan University, pursuing my Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) credential. As a first-generation Latina and bilingual (English/Spanish) clinician-in-training, I bring a culturally responsive perspective and a strong commitment to promoting mental health access for diverse populations.

My counseling approach is grounded in Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT), focusing on how thoughts, emotions, and behaviors interact. I strive to create a safe, empathetic, and nonjudgmental space where clients can explore challenges, build resilience, and develop tools for lasting growth.

My professional interests include working with children and adolescents, young adult women, and individuals navigating life transitions. During my practicum, I look forward to applying evidence-based interventions while honoring each client’s unique life experiences and strengths.
