Ava Szucs – LPC-Associate

Ava Szucs

Accepting new clients in Cypress and at The Tree House office

Hi,

my name is Ava and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor- Associate under the supervision of Courtney Suddath, LSSP, LPC-S. I hold a Master of Arts degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Sam Houston State University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology with a minor in Human Development and Family Studies from Texas Tech University.

Life is filled with plenty of obstacles, but you do not have to face them alone. As your counselor, it is my mission to provide a safe and supportive space where you can explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences. I have a passion for working collaboratively with clients to realize their goals and providing them with the tools for navigating the complex challenges of life. I believe each person and their experiences are unique. Therefore, I pull from several approaches when working with clients to meet their individual needs. Some of these include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, person-centered, and existential. I have experience counseling children as young as five, teens, and adults of all ages experiencing depression, anxiety, OCD, Autism, ADHD, life transitions, relationship difficulties, and more. I have also completed level 1 training in Gottman Method Couples Therapy.

I know reaching out can be difficult, but I am glad you’re taking the first step! I look forward to supporting you in your journey.
