Clinical Background & Approach
Therapy isn’t about “fixing what is ‘wrong’ with you”—it’s about navigating the human experience with a little more clarity and a lot more support.
I believe in the inherent potential for healing within every individual. Whether you are navigating anxiety, relationship hurdles, or the weight of life transitions, my goal is to provide a safe, nonjudgmental space where you feel truly seen. My approach is rooted in the understanding that taking the first step toward therapy requires immense courage; having sat in the ‘client chair’ myself, I truly resonate with the vulnerability and hope that come with starting this journey.
My client-centered philosophy is backed by a broad spectrum of clinical experience. Since 2021, I have worked across diverse mental health landscapes—ranging from the fast-paced environment of acute behavioral hospital units to the unique social dynamics of private schools and private practice. These settings have shaped my ability to support adolescents and adults of all ages with a versatile and adaptive style. As a young Hispanic-American woman, I also bring a culturally sensitive lens to my work, honoring the way your background, family dynamics, and identity weave into your personal story.
About Me
I’ve always had a bit of an adventurous spirit—my journey has taken me from college in Tennessee to various corners of the globe. Whether I was studying abroad, serving on mission trips, or even jumping out of a plane skydiving, I’ve always loved exploring what the world has to offer. As much as I love a good adventure, I find my real balance in the quiet moments: being in nature, recharging, and spending time with my family.
As an introverted therapist, I tend to bring a calm and observant energy to our sessions. I’m a human being just like you, and I personally understand the pressures of modern life and the challenges of maintaining mental well-being. I like to bring that same curiosity I have for travel into my work, helping you explore your own story and discover new paths toward a life that feels more authentic to you.
