My name is Priscilla Ortiz, and I was born and raised in Houston, Texas, as a Spanish-speaking Latina. I have received my Master of Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Houston main campus. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor.
Growing up I have always felt that people solely focused on their physical health but often neglect to check in with their mental health. Because of that, I want to help empower people to get to know themselves on a deeper level and in the process help them attain their personal goals.
I know coming to therapy takes a lot of courage and I admire your willingness to seek help. I was inspired to pursue a career as a licensed therapist after I, myself, went through the counseling process. My life changed and I want to do the same for others! I understand the importance of working within a space that is judgment free and empathetic. My commitment is to provide you with the same comfort and judgment-free space.
