Maria Chavez, MMFT, LMFT-Associate
Supervised by Dr. Dane Eggleston, LMFT-S
My professional journey began with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of Houston. I then earned a graduate degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Abilene Christian University, which further enhanced my skills. My passion lies in fostering a collaborative environment with individuals, children, families, and couples who are dealing with trauma, communication issues, addictions, behavioral problems, grief, anxiety, and depression. Additionally, I also value spending quality time with my children, extended family, and friends.
I am fluent in both Spanish and English, which demonstrates my dedication to helping my clients feel at ease and understood. With twenty years of experience working with students and families in education and advancement, I integrate faith and prayer in therapy to explore your story, work together through challenges, and journey towards healing, growth, and peace.
