I am a student in training pursuing a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Houston Christian University. I am passionate about creating a warm, safe, and supportive space where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered as they navigate life’s challenges and personal growth.
As a bilingual student in training, I value providing culturally responsive care and meeting clients with compassion, authenticity, and respect. I especially would enjoy working with children, teens, young adults, and adults to help them build confidence, emotional resilience, and healthy coping skills.
My personal experience as a mother to a deaf and autistic son has deeply shaped my heart for advocacy and supporting families navigating unique challenges. I am passionate about helping children and parents advocate for themselves while also serving as a compassionate advocate alongside them.
As a Christian, I am also happy to incorporate faith-based values and practices into the counseling process for clients who desire a spiritually integrated approach to therapy.
