Hi, my name is Imelda, and I am a graduate student currently pursuing my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.
I am passionate about creating a calm, supportive space where clients can slow down, reflect, and feel truly heard. I enjoy working with both adults and children navigating stress, life transitions, and the challenges of balancing everyday responsibilities.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and rooted in person-centered, strengths-based, mindfulness-based, and trauma-informed care. I focus on helping clients build insight, develop practical coping strategies, and move toward emotional well-being. With children, I aim to create a safe and engaging environment where they can express themselves, build emotional awareness, and develop healthy coping skills.
I value meeting each person where they are and supporting them at their own pace. My goal is to help clients feel more grounded, supported, and confident as they move forward, while building resilience and working toward meaningful, lasting change.
