Asha Lovelle

Licensed Master Social Worker

Here to help you.

Asha Lovelle, LMSW

Asha Lovelle is a Licensed Master Social Worker with a decade of experience walking alongside youth, young adults, and adults as they clarify their goals, cultivate healing, and reconnect with their most empowered, authentic selves. She brings a deeply compassionate, holistic approach to counseling rooted in trauma-informed practice, expressive arts modalities, and identity-affirming care.

Asha earned her Master of Social Work from the University of Houston’s Graduate College of Social Work, where she was selected as a Fellow in the GCSW Trauma Education Program, an honor recognizing her commitment to trauma-responsive, justice-oriented practice. Her clinical work is grounded in the belief that every person deserves safety, voice, agency, and a therapeutic relationship that honors the whole of who they are.

Before entering district counseling, Asha served in university counseling and support roles, including extensive work with the LGBTQ Resource Center and University Career Services. There, she provided identity-affirming counseling, facilitated healing-centered conversations, and supported students navigating coming out, religious trauma, family conflict, spiritual deconstruction, goal setting, and making big life decisions. She is passionate about helping clients disentangle harmful beliefs, reconnect with self-compassion, and rebuild a sense of spiritual safety and belonging.

In her counseling practice, Asha integrates expressive arts therapy approaches, narrative work, and embodied coping strategies to help clients explore emotion, identity, and meaning-making in creative and empowering ways. She is particularly drawn to supporting individuals experiencing anxiety, perfectionism, neurodivergence, and the complex intersections of identity.

Across all settings, Asha is guided by a core conviction: people flourish when they feel seen, supported, and free to grow at their own pace. Whether working with teens navigating life changes, young adults discovering their purpose, or adults healing long-standing wounds, she strives to create a space where each person can reconnect with their strengths, reclaim their story, and move forward with confidence and clarity.
