Hello there!

I’m LaVonna Martin, a Licensed Professional Counselor based in the state of Texas. My passion for supporting individuals on their mental health journey has been the driving force behind my educational and professional pursuits. I earned my Master in Science in Education (M.S. Ed) degree in Mental Health and School Counseling from Old Dominion University in 2012. Building on this foundation, I furthered my studies and obtained a Doctor of Psychology (Psy.D.) in Educational Psychology from Alliant International University. Currently, I hold a license as a Licensed Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP). 

With over a decade of experience, I have dedicated myself to providing comprehensive mental health services to children in various settings, including schools, communities, and homes. In the school setting, my focus has been on working with students to determine the need for special education services. I have also been actively involved in offering direct counseling services to students and providing consultation to teachers, fostering an environment where every student can achieve their full potential within the educational setting. Beyond the school environment, I extend my services to the home and community, offering individual, group, and family therapy tailored to address the mental health needs of children aged 5-18 years old.
