Therapist in Katy

We live in a fast-paced world with lots of stressors and high expectations. And it is more challenging today to find time to take care of ourselves and relationships with our families, friends, and those who matter in our life. Counseling is a safe space where we all can take time and reflect on what is important for us and focus on positive and rewarding changes in life. I am passionate about helping people to heal, become more resilient and self-aware.

In therapy, I take the time to develop authentic, genuine, and honest relationships that attend to your specific needs. I have a unique way of connecting with people and welcoming clients from all walks of life. Some of the conditions that I focus on are – anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, career transitions, relationships and women’s mental health (some example are post-partum depression, navigating career and motherhood, trauma, family relationships).

Each of us carries a unique spark of the divine, and each of us is also an inseparable part of the web of life.
— Victor Frankl

The counseling approaches that I may use while working with you are the existential approach ( focusing on discovering the meaning of core life events), ACT (acceptance commitment therapy), mindfulness (awareness of paying attention, on purpose, and in the present moment, without judgment), multicultural approach (adapting the treatment to the clients’ background and worldview).

I am A therapists associate and graduate from M.A. in Mental Health Counseling at Palo Alto University, working under the supervision of Rochelle Ritzi, PhD, LPC-S, NCC, RPT-S. I speak fluently English, Brazilian Portuguese, and Russian and am certified in the Myers-Briggs personality assessment. Currently accepting clients in Katy/TX location and online.
