In my professional experience working with patients from all walks of life, one thing has become evident: Everybody is doing what they can to feel better and to get by with their day-to-day activities. However, at times, the resources we count on aren’t enough and we fall into a downward spiral in which we continue to suffer over and over again. And it is there, right there, where the question comes in: are you willing to navigate a different path? Are you willing to direct your efforts to a different solution? Are you willing to make the decisions that will shift things around for the better? If you have read this far, you have probably tried different variations of what to do to improve your situation. And that is perfectly fine. You have shown up for yourself. Now, I invite you to further your efforts. I invite you to be open to taking an extra step. Step(s) that will be worthwhile taking.

That is how I conduct therapy. Step by step. There are no magical answers or solutions to longstanding problems. It does require effort. And I can be by your side in this journey of yours; guiding you into seeing what you might have dismissed, challenging you to consider how you are contributing to your own suffering, and helping you focus on actions that will turn things around. Step by step. I am wholeheartedly convinced that there is always something that can be done!

I have also embarked on the journey of therapy. In doing so, I have found that being aware of your own patterns, shortcomings, and fears, does make a difference in life. Learning how your own beautiful mind works is a superpower! If you are committed to yourself, and even if you are not there yet, gift yourself the opportunity to try. You are likely to be pleasantly surprised at how you can reduce suffering when doing what must be done. It takes bravery, I know. But it is a step worth taking. You are worthy of living the life you want!

I am now open to taking new clients at the Cypress location. No matter who you are: child, teenager, adult. Let’s start this new chapter…
