Kody Lee Kuehn
Supervised by Sarah Rodriguez, LPC
Kody Lee Kuehn is a counselor-in-training pursuing his Master of Arts in Counseling at Dallas Theological Seminary. He holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Texas A&M University and brings nearly two decades of pastoral ministry experience into this next season of caring for others. Across those years, Kody has found himself continually drawn to people and their stories, particularly in the places where life becomes complicated, painful, or uncertain.
Kody believes there is something deeply meaningful about being entrusted with another person’s story. For him, meaningful change often begins when we are given room to slow down, be honestly known, and better understand the affections, experiences, and patterns that have shaped us. His desire is to walk alongside clients with curiosity, compassion, and encouragement, helping cultivate the soil where healing, courage, discovery, and growth can take root.
Away from counseling, Kody’s most treasured role is being a father to his 9-year-old son, Saxon, with their silver Labrador, River, rarely far behind. He enjoys playing guitar, practicing jiu jitsu, reading, working out, surfing whenever geography permits, and sharing the ordinary adventures of life with his son.
