Hello! I’m Aydee Guerrero, a Counselor in Training at our Spring-Tomball location. I am a bilingual provider aiming to provide our Spanish speaking community accessibility to counseling services. I believe that all individuals are capable of reaching their goals with awareness, acceptance, and support. My purpose is to create a trusting therapeutic relationship to help you achieve your desired outcomes.
I was born and raised in Texas. I obtained my bachelor’s degrees in Criminal Justice and Psychology from Sam Houston State University where I am also currently working to complete my Masters in Counseling, with both a Marriage, Couple, and Family Counseling Certificate, and a Play Therapy Certificate. I have been working in Community Mental Health Services for the past six years working with children, youth, and families. My therapeutic modalities lean towards Person-Centered, Cognitive Behavioral, and the Gottman Method for couples. However, I will tailor care based on your needs. I may use other approaches, such as, play therapy, Sand Tray, and expressive arts to help facilitate your progress in counseling.
