Hi, my name is Anggie Pedraza-Watson I am a Bilingual Therapist (Hablo Español) I have a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Capella University. I am currently a Licensed Professional Counselor- Associate under the supervision of Dr. Pamela Ogletree, PhD, LPC-S.
I have provided counseling services for teens, adults, veterans, and couples experiencing stress, anxiety, depression, anger, self-esteem, trauma, marital issues, among others. My job is to help you navigate through these issues and develop goals that can lead you to gain the skills needed to face what you think you cannot handle.
I see counseling as a process in which you the client, and I, the Counselor develop an understanding to trust one another, to work as a team to explore and define present problems and situations, to develop goals to improve your quality of life. At first, it may seem like there is no way out or possible solutions, there is hope even when it seems there is none.
I use a variety of approaches such as Person-Centered, Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Solution Focused, Biblical Counseling, and others based on the client’s needs.
A little bit about me: I am a U.S Marine Corps Veteran, I am married and have two beautiful children, I was born in Venezuela, raised in Peru, and have lived in the U.S for over 15 years. In my free time, I like to spend it with my family and also practice self-care (work out, journal, read, etc). My favorite food is Indian.
Many years ago, I found anxiety and depression and found healing, I believe is my calling to bring hope to those still hurting through the field of Counseling.
“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” Jeremiah 29:11
